· Any GST charged on any transaction will not be refunded.
· Any refund pending on your booking will be credited to the same mode of payment through which you paid in 5-7 working days after refund is initiated.
· Any and all Cancellation Policies are superseded by the Emergency Case Cancellation Policy in case of situations such as war, pandemics, force majeure, or similar extraordinary events affecting the tour region.
· We rarely cancel or suspend yatras. However, in exceptional circumstances where conducting the yatra safely is not possible, we may be forced to cancel or modify the yatra. If a yatra is cancelled by Bengaluru Yatris due to force majeure, natural calamities (such as continuous heavy rain, floods, landslides, thunderstorms, earthquakes, forest fires, or any other natural disaster), department restrictions, government orders, wildlife movement, political unrest, road closures, pandemics, or any other unforeseen situation that compromises the safety of the group, participants will receive a Bengaluru Yatris Credit Voucher equivalent to the yatra fee paid (excluding payment gateway charges, taxes, permits, and any non-refundable third-party charges, if applicable). The voucher can be used to book any Bengaluru Trekkers event within 12 months from the date of issue.
· If the entire group is required to abandon the trek after the trek has commenced due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, trail damage, withdrawal of forest permissions, government restrictions, or any other safety-related reason, no refund or voucher will be issued, as the trek has already been operationally conducted.
· No refund, voucher, or transfer will be provided if a participant is unable to complete the trek due to personal reasons, including but not limited to: Insufficient fitness or inability to maintain the group's pace, Illness, injury, altitude sickness, dehydration, or any medical condition, Violation of trek rules, including consumption of alcohol, smoking, use of prohibited substances, or misconduct, voluntarily choosing to discontinue the trek, any other personal reason requiring early exit from the trek. In such cases, any additional transportation or evacuation expenses, if required, shall be borne by the participant.
· Batch shifting is subjected to availability of slots.
· By booking a yatra with Bengaluru Yatris, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
